After using dark backgrounds and unprofessional looking backgrounds, messing around with lights and figuring out how to diffuse light to prevent glare, I just might have this whole photo taking thing conquered!
Oh wow! These photos are fantastic. I'm sitting going "how, how, how????" Are you willing to share? I can't even figure out the material or how you got the light to diffuse. Also, my metal pieces are falling out of my polymer after a month or so. What kind of glue do you use? Marlene email: arteveryday(at)msn(dot)com. Thanks
That's a great idea! I will make a post here real soon for taking photos, thanks for the idea, I can never seem to think of things to post when I actually have the time.
Thanks Jan :) I think they are so much better. I thought my old ones were good, too, but posting on the critiques forum on etsy can be a good eye opener about those things, and they were right. These look so much more professional.
Bingo! I think you've got it! These photos rock. I don't see how you could improve any more on these. Sigh, now if only I could get mine looking that good.
When I get some time I plan to post here how I shoot mine......it won't look very professional, working with what I have, not going out and spending tons of $ on nice lights and boxes but it got these so it might help others :)

I didn't think your old photos were bad but I must admit that these are much better, more professional looking, very clear.
